About us

Jammin'colorS is a management and booking agency for Jazz, World, Funk, Alternative, Electro and Experimental artists.

Established in 2005 by a team with an intense passion for music, our mission is to:
  • introduce, manage, promote and produce artists
  • share their music with a larger audience
  • create different artistic and musical projects
  • provide a platform for an open dialogue between cultures
  • keep the eternal flame of good music alive
Our philosophy is simple:

Musicians are artists who need to be free to express themselves. They have a real gift and they are part of music history. They should not have to waste their energy and divert their attention from creative expression by struggling every day through the hardships of the music industry.

"Music doesn't lie. If there is something to be changed in this world, then it can only happen through music." - Jimi Hendrix

Management

Since 2005 Jammin'colorS has managed renowned bassist-composer Reggie Washington and guided his career in the music industry.

In the past 10 years we have organized more than 150 concerts under Reggie's name and released three CDs:
  • A LOT OF LOVE, LIVE (2006)
  • FREEDOM (2012)
  • RAINBOW SHADOW - A Tribute to Jef Lee Johnson (2015)
In 2007 we began managing the career of Jef Lee Johnson, a Philadelphia-based session guitarist but also a prolific singer-songwriter and a band leader in his own right. Our close collaboration grew until Jef's sudden passing in 2013.

Jammin'colorS will continue to share Jef Lee Johnson's music all over the world.

Jammin'colorS promotes all its events and current projects through direct contact with journalists, radio programmers, photographers, event organizers and fans. We further the work of artists using reviews, photos, videos, press kits and e-mail marketing.

  • REGGIE WASHINGTON "Rainbow Shadow"
  • JASON MILES "Kind of New"
  • JASON MILES "To Grover With Love"

Private & Group Instruction

Jammin'colorS musicians are available to give workshops, master classes and private lessons.

Working with small and medium-sized groups, they share the styles and techniques of the instruments they play and also perform pieces from their repertoire for students to analyze.

These intensive educational exchanges are always rewarding for students and musicians alike.

Jammin'colorS has organized a variety of workshops and master classes in the US, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Croatia.

Special Projects

  • MUSIC IN THE CITIES
Making a living in the music industry is becoming harder and harder for artists: tours have been shortened, gigs are more frequently canceled last minute and fees have decreased. At the same time, venues have less subsidies while fielding more offers from artists. To propose a solution to this dilemma, Jammin'colorS is developing the Music in the Cities program.

  • MUSIC GUIDE
This project, currently "under construction", will help musicians, promoters, journalists and music lovers by offering them a comprehensive listing of venues, festivals, journalists, artists and managers.
